Drontal Plus Flavour 1 Tablets
Drontal Plus tablets kill more varieties of round worms and tape worms than any other wormer.One tablet contains 50mg Praziquantel, 114mg Pyrantel Embonate and 150mg Febantel for the control of tapeworms and roundworms in dogs and puppies. 1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight.
Uses
For the control of the following gastrointestinal tapeworms and roundworms of dogs and puppies.
Ascarids: Toxocara canis, Toxoscaris leonia (adult and late immature forms)
Hookworms: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum (adults)
Whipworms: Trichuris vulpis (adults)
Tapeworms: Echinococcus species, Taenia species, dipylidium caninum (adults and immature forms).
Dosage
For oral administration only.
The recommended does rates are: 15m/gkg bodyweight febantel, 14.4mg/kg pyrantel and 5mg/kg praziquantel.
1 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet per 10kg of bodyweight.
1 Drontal Plus XL Tablet per 35kg of bodyweight
The tablets can be given directly to th dog or disguised in food. No starvation is needed before or after treatment.
For routine control adult dogs should be treated every 3 months. For routine treatment a single dose is recommended. In the event of heavy roundworm infestation a repeat dose should be iven after 14 days.

0.5-2kg (1.1-4.4 lbs) = 1/4 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
2-5kg ( 5.5-11 lbs) = 1/2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet
6-10kg (13.2-22 lbs) = 1 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablet

11-15kg (24.2-33 lbs) = 1 1/2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets
16-20kg (35.2-44 lbs) = 2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets

26-30kg (57.2-66 lbs) = 3 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets

46-50kg (101.2-110 lbs) = 1 Drontal Plus XL Tablet and 1 1/2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets
51-55kg (112.2-121 lbs) = 1 Drontal Plus XL Tablet and 2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets
56-60kg (123.2-132 lbs) = 1 Drontal Plus XL Tablet and 2 1/2 Drontal Plus Flavour Tablets

66-70 kg (145.2-154 lbs) = 2 Drontal Plus XL Tablets
For routine treatment a single dose is reccomended.
Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age and every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of ages. Thereafter they should be treated at 3 month intervals. It is advisable to treat the bitch at the same time as the puppies.
for the control of toxocara, nursing bitches should be dosed 2 weeks after giving birth and every two weeks until weaning.
Use during Pregnancy and Lactation
Consult a Veterinary surgeon before treating pregnant animals for Roundworms.The product may be used during lactation. Do not exceed recommended does when treating preganant bitches.
