Equimax® Tabs is registered for use in all horses that have mixed infestations of roundworms, tapeworms and bots, and is the only product registered to treat all 3 species of equine tapeworm. Each pack treats 800kg.
Safety Studies have proven Equimax® Tabs is safe to use on all types of horses.
A specific safety studyfor Equimax® Tabs was conducted to assess the safety when administered at x1, x3 and x5 the recommended dose rate.
Equimax® has been proven safe in stallions, in pregnant mares. It is equally safe on foals and can be safely administered to foals from 2 weeks of age. Nevertheless foals may not be able to crunch the tablets until they have enough teeth to masticate, so from a practical point of view it could be considered to wait until 9-12 months of age to treat foals with Equimax® Tabs.
