Description
Drontal Cat 1 Tablet
Drontal Cat Tablets are coated white to pale yellow tablets each containing 230 mg pyrantel embonate and 20 mg praziquantel.
Drontal controls every type of intestinal worm commonly found in UK Cats.
Dosage:
The recommended dose rates are 57.5mg/kg pyrantel embonate and 5mg/kg praziquantel. This is the equivalent to one Drontal Cat per 4kg bodyweight and 1 Drontal Cat XL Tablets per 6kg bodyweight.
Dosage Chart:
Up to 2kg: half a Drontal Cat Tablet
2kg - 4kg: 1 Drontal Cat XL Tablet
4kg - 6kg: 1 Drontal Cat XL Tablet
6kg - 8kg: 2 Drontal Cat Tablets
8kg - 10kg: 1 Drontal Cat Tablet plus 1 Drontal Cat XL Tablet
Administration and Duration:
A single dose should be given every 3 months. The tablets should be given orally preferably directly but can be disguised in food if necessary.
DO NOT use during pregnancy or lactation.
Further Information:
DO NOT use on kittens less than 6 weeks old.
DO NOT use simultaneously with Piperazine Compounds.
WASH hands straight after.
Keep out of reach of children.
Any Part used products or empty containers should be disposed of.
