Arden Grange Adult Rich in Fresh Salmon & Rice is a highly digestible and extremely palatable diet, which has been specially formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of adult dogs with sensitive skins and stomachs. It is also very acceptable to dogs with normal digestion and is an excellent adult maintenance diet.
The premium quality ingredients in Arden Grange Salmon & Rice mean that this product may also be suitable for older puppies and juveniles who require a complete and balanced, highly digestible diet. As with all our products, Arden Grange Adult Rich in fresh Salmon & Rice is a hypoallergenic diet. It is free from the main ingredients known to provoke adverse food reactions in dogs – wheat gluten, beef, soya and dairy products. It is also free from any artificial colourings and flavourings and is preserved naturally with a combination of mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) and rosemary. None of the ingredients in the recipes are genetically modified.
– As with all Arden Grange products, prebiotics and nucleotides are included. Prebiotics may help to promote the beneficial intestinal flora and limit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Nucleotides (natural short-chain proteins derived from yeast) enhance metabolic function, allowing optimum levels of nutrients to be absorbed and utilised by the body. Fresh salmon is an ideal protein source for dogs with sensitive digestion since it has a very low antigenicity. This means that it is low down on the list of potential triggers of food allergies and is unlikely to provoke an adverse food reaction. Our cooking processes and the high digestibility of the ingredients in this product mean that it is acceptable to even the most sensitive digestion. – With fresh salmon as the primary ingredient, Arden Grange Salmon & Rice is naturally rich in the beneficial Omega-3 fatty acids that help to promote healthy skin. Whole linseed and high quality fish oils are added to the recipe to ensure that the correct ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids is upheld. Optimum levels of vitamins and a chelated source of zinc also help to maximise skin and coat condition. Itchy skin and a scurfy coat are often the first signs of an adverse reaction to a dietary ingredient. It can also be symptomatic of nutrient imbalances, which may arise from over / under-supplementation of vitamins or minerals or as a result of a medical condition.
