Arden Grange Adult with Fresh Chicken & Rice is a highly digestible and extremely palatable diet, which has been specially formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of adult dogs. It is an excellent maintenance diet and as with all of the Arden Grange range, only premium quality ingredients are used in the recipe. It is very competitively priced for a super-premium pet food, and one of the best selling Arden Grange products.
The medium sized kibble of Arden Grange Chicken & Rice means that it is acceptable to a variety of breeds. As with all of the products, it can be fed dry or moistened depending upon the dogs’ preference (fresh water must always be available).

Whilst carbohydrates are necessary in a complete pet food (to provide adequate fibre and sustained energy), it is important to remember that although dogs are classified as omnivores, they are primarily meat-eaters. Arden Grange Chicken & Rice contains chicken meal as its primary ingredient (27%), and a total of 45% chicken ingredients (including pure chicken oil as the main fat source), which is well above the levels contained within many other commercially produced diets. In addition, losses from cooking are accounted for at the outset and therefore the typical analysis of the product is a true representation of the nutritional value of the feed.

Optimum levels of vitamins and minerals, and the correct ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids may help to promote good skin and coat condition. As with all our products, Arden Grange Chicken & Rice is a hypoallergenic diet, and free from the main ingredients known to provoke adverse food reactions in dogs – wheat gluten, beef, soya and dairy products. It is also free from any artificial colourings and flavourings and is preserved naturally with a combination of mixed tocopherols (vitamin E) and rosemary extract. None of the ingredients in the recipes are genetically modified. As with all Arden Grange products, prebiotics and nucleotides are included in the recipe. Prebiotics may help to promote the beneficial intestinal flora and limit the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Nucleotides (natural short-chain proteins derived from yeast) enhance metabolic function, allowing optimum levels of nutrients to be absorbed and utilised by the body. may help to benefit your dog in the following ways: -

It does not include heads, feet or feathers. Chicken meal is a very popular ingredient since it is typically very nutrient dense and a valuable natural mineral source. The fresh chicken is added to maximise palatability and digestibility as well as to boost the total meat content of the diet. . This means that it is easily broken down into its constituent amino acids (the building blocks of protein) necessary for a variety of structural and metabolic functions within the body. Chicken is subsequently easily digested, absorbed and utilised and is therefore an excellent protein source for dogs with normal digestion.
